Fenn & Fable exists to give new and independent authors a real place to call home. We take on new writers, shape their books with real editorial care, and give each one a proper home: cover, design, and a readership — so a first novel arrives like it always belonged on the shelf.

There are two ways to publish with us. Our Writer’s Studio gives independent authors the craft of a publishing house — story and character development, editing, design and guidance — while they keep every right and every royalty. And for a select few each year, we open for submissions and publish the book ourselves, carrying the cost and the risk. Two distinct paths, one House.

What began as one independent author’s own book has, in a remarkably short time, grown into a house of five — and we are always on the lookout for the next great story to bring home.

Lena Fenn

Co-Founder & Editor-in-Chief

Lena spent ten years inside the world of publishing before she wrote a word of her own — long enough to see how books get made, and how many good ones never get their chance. So she wrote the novel she’d been carrying, and founded the house she wished had existed. As Editor-in-Chief she shapes every title; as an author, she still writes her own.

Lynn Jeremy (LJ)

Co-Founder · Sales & Operations

Over twenty years in the corporate world, running businesses at executive level, taught LJ how to turn a good idea into something that works. She’s the commercial engine of Fenn & Fable — the co-founder who takes a writer’s vision and builds a real, working publisher around it, carrying the cost and the risk so the storytelling has something solid to stand on.

Cleo Marsh

Assistant Editor · Author

Cleo came to Fenn & Fable as an author — her darkly comic debut, Results May Vary — and stayed to help build it. As Assistant Editor in the Writer’s Studio she works alongside Lena across the House’s list, bringing a writer’s instinct and a sharp editorial eye to every book she shapes and every author she helps home.
